I really like what you did with the webmethods job. I’m a little annoyed that you didn’t spend any time on the background, because I think that part of the point of the exercise was to see how we got into it. In fact, I think it would be even better if you spent more time on the background.
It’s not that we’re the worst, but we’re pretty bad at what we do. Most of us have either been working in web-development for ten years or more, or we’re doing it ourselves. We’re also generally just not that good at it, and I think we can probably do a little better here.
The problem with webmethods, and other similar web development careers like design and marketing jobs, is that we don’t have many opportunities to learn from our peers. Its all “do it, learn it, and get out”. The problem is that most of us don’t have anything to learn because we’re too busy doing our day-to-day work.
I feel that this is true of most other jobs. Most of us are just trying to work for the paycheck, and that’s it. And there are a lot of people who are just trying to get their shit together and do a good job, and that’s it.
But, I know that people who do that work on their own, are just trying to get their shit together and do a good job. So I think it’s important to remember that there are just two primary goals in life, and that it’s just a matter of how much they value themselves.
One of the things that I love most about this job is that it does not have a set salary. The job I do has no set salary. There are no set hours. The hours are flexible. I am free to work and work whenever I want, however long I want, however many hours I want. There are no set job titles or job descriptions. It is purely my own personal job.
The best part about being a webmethods is that I am able to get paid for my work. I am not paid to read blogs. I am not paid to do research. I am paid to read blogs. Not to read blogs. Not to do research.
The problem here is that, unlike most of the other jobs I’ve done in my life, I’ve never worked in the online world and rarely in the real world. In this case, the job I do is to pay for my time, and that is a lot of time. I am always spending that time on my phone or email. The thing I do, though, is get email and pay. I take the time to look at email and pay.
It is important to note that this is a paid job. This means I make money. But I pay for this time too. So I don’t have the time to do everything that I like to do. I know this may sound strange, but it does make sense. I use email to work and I use the internet to work.
