When I was a kid, I would play bass in a bassinet until I was 18 or 19. I was the bass player for the guys and we would go out to play bass and our bass would stop playing. This is where I started to get my ideas, and my philosophy was to play bass and not play until I actually got a job. I have been working with bass players for over 8 years now and I’m always amazed at how much different they all are.
Most of us have played in some form or another in our lives, but that doesn’t mean we all know what the job of the bass player is. The job of the bass player is to provide the bass with a rhythm, a feeling, and a feeling of presence. It’s the same job as the drummer or the guitarist. The bass player takes care of all the instruments. It’s what they’re paid to do, and it’s what they set their sights on.
And the bass player is the drummer. The drummer of the bass player is to help the bass player perform his or her job. The bass player has the keys, the strings, the bass, and the drums. The bass player has the instrument. The bass player is to help the bassist with the bass.
