I have to say it, I love this game. It is the type of game that makes me think about all the things I want to do and all the things I want to learn the next time I get out of the shower. road runner sports rockville is a platformer like Splatoon or Super Mario Bros. where you run around a rock-shaped world and destroy obstacles. The music is great, and the game feels a lot like Crash Bandicoot. It’s a great way to get your adrenaline pumping and test your reflexes.
It feels like a lot of the game’s mechanics are the same as Super Mario Bros. For example, you jump, you run, and then you run again. However, I do wish there was a way to jump a bit more. But I guess you can’t just jump the same way as Mario. Although it’s not a bad thing, some of the game’s controls take me out of the game’s flow.
In the case of Super Mario Bros., you can jump and run through a bunch of boxes, but this game is more about running. The controls are stiff, but once you start getting used to the game (especially since the music can get annoying) it becomes a lot more fun and you can jump pretty much anywhere. However, the game gets tedious after a while.
The game is a little rough to play at first but you get used to it. The music is a little bland, but it does get better when you get used to the controls.
For a while there it got pretty frustrating if you didn’t catch a whole set of bad Mario jumps, so that’s why there’s a lot of bad jumping throughout the game. But there’s a lot of strategy involved in getting your jumps in and getting to the right spots.
The controls are a little wonky. Especially on the run and especially if you’re using it for the first time. For a while the game gets into a bit of a problem where if you get an enemy within a radius he’ll only be able to shoot at the left side of your ship. It works a little better if you start to shoot before you reach the enemy, but there is a lot of frustration in trying to figure out what is happening.
