In other news, I have been notified that a Miami-Dade corrections official has been hired by the state.

The Corrections Department will also have to decide what kinds of jobs are allowed. It would be nice if the Corrections Department could hire people for jobs that we think are dangerous or don’t have a good chance of becoming necessary, but I guess that’s not a lot of fun.
