I would be remiss if I didn’t note that the job search is not a linear process. You are never going to know the exact day you started your job hunt. If you are unemployed, you will always be searching. If you have hit a dead end, you will still be searching for a job. If you are successful, you will be able to identify the exact day you began your job hunt. This is a process that can be tracked in a number of different ways.
You will still be able to find a job. Because you won’t be able to be a ‘factory worker’, I would add the job search that you have done this week. If you are not a ‘factory worker’, then you will need to go back to the real job you actually did last week.
The number 30 is important. It is not a job number just because it is a number. It is a job number because it is a fixed number of hours you will be assigned to a job. You can start a job without having hit that 30, but you will not be assigned a job within 30 hours. If you are in the middle of a job hunt, you will almost certainly find a job within 30 hours.
