For me, it is a career that is filled with the best of both worlds. In addition to being a part of the golf industry, I also work as a sales rep. I love the fact that I can get up on the tee and show golf clubs off to prospective clients, and still enjoy a game of golf.

It is a good gig if you’re one of the top golf company executives, but it is probably not for everyone. I know of no golf company that hires a fulltime sales rep, and even if they did, they wouldn’t put any golf clubs in your hands.

And the people who are trying to sell golf courses are not very good at it. When they’re off the course they are much less successful sales reps.
