I am a writer by trade, and I love to write. While I love the creative process, there is a whole world of writing out there that can satisfy me. The one thing that I love about writing, is that it is a process, all of it, as you go through. It can take you from novella, to short stories, to books, to essays, and everything in between. I’m currently working on a novel-in-progress.
I work for a small non-profit in Seattle called The Story Siren. We are a non-profit that provides free and high quality writing services to people with developmental disabilities.
The Story Siren provides an outlet for people with creative and career goals to express themselves. One of the things that we offer is a mentorship program, a blog, and a critique group. The Story Siren provides a very unique, non-traditional job, which allows me to work with people with disabilities and live in a supportive environment.
Seattle is a great environment for creating your own career, because there have been many job openings for people with disabilities in the past few months. And the local job market is very healthy.
I also have a job working in the education field. I teach English at a progressive high school in Seattle, and I also work on a research project at a high school in San Jose. These are mostly part-time jobs, so I get a bit of a break from paying rent. I wouldn’t trade any of the other jobs I’ve had for anything, but I do miss the freedom of being able to create and explore my own career and creativity.
The good thing about being a creative person is that there are a lot of people to collaborate with. I love working with other artists, writers, filmmakers, designers, and other creatives. I take pride in being as self-sufficient as possible, and I do a lot of my own research and design my own materials. This is an area I wish I could put more of my efforts into, because I feel it would be really fulfilling.
The reason I’m writing this is that I find it very rewarding to read my own work. I use my own passion to work with other artists and filmmakers and designers, and I’m a huge fan of the ideas that are in the art gallery. Sometimes I’ll be doing more than I’m doing, so I can’t just sit there and say, “Wow, I’m going to do something with you for a long time,” but I can definitely do something with the art gallery.
I’m not a programmer and Im not in any way related to the art gallery, but Im glad Im able to do work with some of the very talented people in this industry. I just want to be able to help more artists see their work become more recognized, which is a big opportunity for the whole industry.
In its art gallery form, the art gallery is a place where you can upload your own art. The gallery itself has a certain amount of “magic” in it. You can set up a slideshow of your work and have people watch it, or you can show off your work right there in front of you without any audience or viewer. With its very own webcam and microphone, Ill be able to see your work being created right in front of us.
All these things are important when building content for your website, and it’s important to have the ability to create content for your website.
