As a biostatistician, you are one of the most important experts on statistics. You get to make your mark on the world and help people see a new and better way of doing things. You are an expert in statistics, not only in understanding population statistics, but how they can be used to drive research and policy-making. You are also an expert in statistical inference, which is the process of identifying the causes and effects of statistical observations.

But not all biostatisticians find this goal too far-fetched because they can also find ways to combine this academic passion with their day-to-day jobs.
