I really don’t like how the job center jobs are structured. It’s not very interesting, which means I don’t find myself in the queue, waiting around for a long time for an interview, or sitting around for a few hours for a call back. I don’t know who I think I am when I’m applying for a job, and I doubt anyone else does either. I just feel like the office environment is very impersonal.
When I was applying for a job, I actually had a few interview calls where they told me they were hiring me. I was pretty excited about that because I was the first person they had been able to find for me. It didn’t go well at all.
I am not saying that you should avoid them if they arent a company you want to work for, but I do want to point out that those companies should be aware that you might not be what they are looking for. If you are not confident, you should not apply for them.
